We are having a break!

The Besom in Taunton is having a break week beginning 4 August and week beginning 11 August. There will be no collections or deliveries during those two weeks.

We will be back to normal from Monday 18 August.

What you can give

If you would like to donate items, please fill in this form. This helps us with all the details we need. We will then get back to you as soon as possible.

Donations of good quality furniture are always needed. Please see the list below.

Kitchen equipment

Kettles and toasters in good condition and working order are often requested. Unfortunately we cannot accept large electrical items such as fridges and freezers, cookers, microwaves or washing machines.

Mugs, plates, cutlery, saucepans and kitchen utensils for starter packs are welcomed. (No cups and saucers or teapots, please.)

Soft furnishings

We are also pleased to receive good quality curtains, bed linen and towels. (No fitted sheets, please.)

We do not accept used pillows or duvets. We always supply one new set of pillows and duvet in a starter pack.

Rugs and carpet off-cuts

Rugs and pieces of carpet in good condition are also very useful.

Furniture

We can collect items such as:

  • small tables and dining chairs (with fire tags)

  • beds (must have a fire tag)

  • bedding (sheets and duvet covers - no fitted sheets)

  • sofas and easy chairs (must have a fire tag)

  • chests of drawers

  • small wardrobes

  • coffee tables

  • anything included in a “starter pack”

  • rugs

  • other items as agreed by Besom
